Almost Too Good To Walk On!

'Aubusson 614' by The Rug Company

Today at work I had to find a few rugs for a client - unfortunately for me, they wanted something muted and hard wearing, like Sisal or some along those lines... My mind however (and seemingly, my mouse) wandered onto other much more interesting rugs!
I love The Rug Company (who doesn't?!) and so of course, I had to pull my favorites, and post them here! With collections designed by fashion icons, interior designers, and other such famous names, my eyes were having a candy feast!
If you've got time to spare, I suggest you go for a wander around their website and look at the 'Roomsets & Inspiration'... most of all - I LOVE the photography!!! Somehow they make even a somewhat unappealing rug look completely desirable!

Coveting Cavalli...

Heavenly Roberto Cavalli

I lovveeee Cavalli.... It's getting colder, and with it, out comes my own Cavalli fur! Which by the way I addoorrreee!! (especially when it gets really cold and I team it up with my Shearling beehive hat!)
I really like the above Cavalli fur suit, slick as you like! Below I've hit it up with some stunning interiors which are inspired by it...

Stunning Fashion Photography...

I flicked through an old copy of Elle Decor (UK copy!) I had lying around, and coming across Tim Walker's Photography, which I've browsed before, I couldn't help but do a quick post of my favorites!
I'm sure we've all seen the above photo somewhere or another... it is oh-so stunning! His fashion photography is something else, whimsical and dramatic, I just LOVE how feminine they are, how they are so flattering and beautiful, the sets are so carefully constructed and yet he makes it all look so effortless..... Stunning!!

Dior to Decor!!

When I saw the above image from John Galliano's Dior Fall Winter '08 '09 fashion show, I fell deeply in love.... Sometimes Dior just makes my jaw drop...
So I'm going to try something a little new here, something I think that will test my eye, and challenge me... something I'm going to borrow (I hope she doesn't mind!!) from Coco+Kelley! I've always loved how she does this, so I thought I'd see how my own eye fared!
And on a hunt I went, through my all of my interior images, for some which I felt were inspired by this dress..... so...how did I do?!! ;)

I Want This Runway In My Closet!!!

Marianne Dress (to diiieeee for!!!!)

If any of you out there have been keeping tabs on Bravo's Project Runway, then you'll know who won it! Leanne was my favorite!!!! I'm so happy for her!! And although I wasn't one for watching the show religiously, or even from the beginning, but I will admit to catching the last few! (the night of the finale consisted of a run for dumplings for dinner on the sofa with my roommate Kim in preparation!!)
Today, I came upon her Itsy shop, Leanimal!! Only to find that I was kicking myself in not finding it earlier and snapping up some of the most gorgeous clothes I have ever seen!!!!! I cannot wait to see what she has next! Everything in her shop is totally sold out (not shocking!!) but I will be keeping my ears to the ground as to when new goodies are created and for sale!! No doubt, they will fly out in seconds flat!
So here I have posted some of my absolute favorites!!! I could have just kept adding more and more and more of her clothes, like the Custom Maxine dress, the Eva dress, the Veronica Dress, the Josefina dress, the Mylena dress..and on!!!! BUT!! I just adddooorrreee the Marianne dress above, and I swear I would pay any amount of money to have this in my wardrobe!!!! Please Leanne, could you make another for me?!!! Pleaassee???!!

Ashley Tunic..beautiful!!

Adeline Dress..classic sharp white!

Max Dress..oh my heavens above - I lovveee this dress!!

Monica Jacket...this is a gorgeous beauty!

Helena Dress...I just love the detail in this!

Shopping?!

Every time I walk up Mulberry Street, I make a point to check out this skirt in the window of Calvin Tran...yes, that stunning grey one in the middle.....I know my picture isn't so great of it, but ohhh how I would love to have this skirt!!!!!! It's perfect feminine mermaid shape...oh I would float down the streets in this beautiful piece....*sigh*

Also....of course, there is an also.... (and slightly more within my budget!) the below jacket from Anthropologie. I found it on ebay.....and I love this jacket! .. one day left - can I justify the expense??! Even if this week I have a perfect excuse for it!! And I swear I would look just adorable in this though!!!! And yes, of course, it's sizes are spot on for me!! Arg!!!

And this season I'd like a feminine sweater dress - not your usual run of the mill kind, something lovely...or maybe just one with a cowl neck...I lovvee cowl necks! Maybe something like the one below...I have a pair of choo boots which would go perfectly with this!!

Beautiful Blue!

So I think I've started myself off on a trend here! First, Lime...then Yellow...well now I'm going all Blue!!!

Cool and refreshing - and you should know my now I have a fixation for duck egg blue!! BUT! There should be more than just that blue in here somewhere! Ha!

Blue M&M's are my favorite - but I don't know why! Maybe because it's such an odd color to eat! And below is a pic of me my friend Kara took when we were up at the Bronx Botanical Gardens last weekend. What can I say?! I love my blue hat!!

Kara's photo of me in the Bronx Botanical Gardens! (with my bad habit! yikes!)
